Happy New Year to all! And with the New Year celebration comes our Fireworks Display art project for the early elementary students. In this project students are learing about the art element space. No not outer space, but rather, how artists make something look close or far away. One way is to overlap objects. This gives the sense that something is in front or behind something else. In our grande finale firework drawings, students are practicing overlapping their fireworks to show some fireworks close and some farther away.
